expensive things.
A few years ago I started buying vintage seriously, and something clicked. The quality of leather goods made 20+ years ago is, as a starting point, simply better than what most brands produce today. What surprised me was how much that applies even to the very expensive ones. The leather itself, the tanning techniques, the craft — it has declined across the board.
So I taught myself. About leather, about tanning, about what actually makes a piece worth keeping. And I found a lot of it sitting in the vintage market, waiting.
MAG Objects came out of that. I sell curated leather pieces, help people sell what they no longer use, and am working on a leather balm that actually does what it says.
I do most of it myself. That is probably obvious.
